So, is this normal? I really don't think so!

Even if I leave it on forever it stays red, I tried it multiple times with different chargers I got the same result.

    Anybody has the same issue?

    Thanks guys

    No its not normal.

    Typical questions...

    What carrier?
Has it always done this from day one?
    Running a 3rd party launcher?
Did you resort from an old backup?
    Did you clear cache?

Do you still get led notifications (assuming you have the led to flash for notifications)

Are you using a battery monitor app, or something similar? My LED blinks blue for notifications, red while charging, and green when complete.

My first charge stayed on red for ages even though it was showing 100%.

Yea, as others ive noticed (I use wireless charging 100%) the led will be red for quite a bit after the phone shows %100. How long are you keeping the phone on tap (powered )?

So you have an unlocked note 8? You purchased it from samsung direct?

I changed a setting to deliberately turn that upper-left LED light off, so not to bother me with light when I sleep.

Thank you all for the reply

Today I waited longer than usual it turned green after all. But even after that I tried to charge it few times just to try out the LED and it takes the phone around 10 minutes to comprehend that it's full and the LED turns green

Again thank you very much for taking the time reply

Hopefully that bug will be fixed in the next update
