I've had some people ask me what I use, so here it is,

This is a list of most of the tools I use for Developing/Theming on Windows 7 and some guides and shit for you guys.

Theres still some things that require Linux like building a ROM from source or doing anything with a Kernel.

I'm not going to give any support for any of these. All the info you should need on them is in the links or on google.

    Main Tools:
    Android SDK (Misc tools)
    PowerCmd (Command Prompt)
    Notepad++ (lots of uses)
    7zip (lots of uses)
    Apktool v1.4.1 (Decompiling/Compiling apk's)
    smali/blaksmali (Decompiling/Compiling jars)
    xUltimate (Deodex/Zipalign/Optimize apk's and jar's)

    Base ROM's:
Odin (Return phone to Stock/Factory) (Odin to what you want and pull /system)

    Image Tools:
Photoshop CS5 (My main image editor/creator)
GIMP (I use this if I need to un-index a image)
    IrfanView (Batch image converter/re-namer)
    PNGGauntlet (Batch png compresser)

    Misc Guides:

Thanks again Blood, I don't know how much patience I will have with myself trying these out... one quick question... what is the minimum system requirements for using this stuff? To me it looks like Paintshop CS5 is the most demanding... but not sure..
