I have previously bought my Androids in Norway so the stock keyboard and dictionary has Norwegian, which is included in the Nordic Android. But it's expensive to buy an unlocked handset when my UK contract could probably allow me an upgrade.

Is there any way to add a region or dictionary to the stock keyboard? I never use my QWERTY, only T9, so the last version I saw of Scandinavian keyboard in the Market was QWERTY only.

You could try Go keyboard. It has options for languages and has a T9 keyboard feature too.
