Well, if you mean that you want to use an annual upgrade then you're out of luck. I am eligible for an annual upgrade, but was told that I could only get a two-year contract with that. So, unless the *611 people can pull some strings for you, you can get the promotional pricing, but have to sign a 2-year contract.

Still worth it for me. It looks as though the specs are good enough that it'll be fine for the next 20 months.

I fell asleep once in my office. I remember listening to the beginning of Ledzepplin's Kashmir and then suddenly recalled listening to Custard Pie. Talk about a jolt!

That is because it is not officialy announced yet. Relax, it is a good sign that it is on the front page now.

I think I'm going to show up at my local corporate VZW store at 9:55 am on Thursday morning. Knowing that I can have the phone on Thursday...makes me not want a phone that will ship on Thursday...I'll start getting upgrade remorse...start drinking heavily at work...it won't be pretty! LOL

[Note to self...upgrade wife's phone and get her something she is excited about right before you want to upgrade...saves on the dirty looks when you tell her you are getting yet another phone!]

New phone? C'mon! Be a man and thrust some shiny kitchenware on her so that she can cook you a nice meal by the time you come home :D

I'm a man that will be celebrating his 10 year anniversary next month...you don't get to that marker by telling your wife to "get in the kitchen...barefoot & pregnant where you belong!"

Bottom line...my wife would kill my ass! :)

But instead I let her wear all the pants she wants and she understands me when I say I gotta run to Verizon or Best Buy ;)

Well said man. I am not married but I wouldn't wanna treat my wife in a way i wouldn't want her treating me back. Keep her happy and I bet you get to do things that make you happy.

The splash page did show Thunderbolt for me after I emptied cache, but now it is back to the original. They are definitely working on something.

New guy here...I've been following this phone for what seems like forever!

Anyway, I checked Wirefly and there taking pre-orders now...there price is $199.

ThunderBolt by HTC for Verizon Wireless - Wirefly.com

To bad I pre-ordered at BB..could have saved $50, oh well.

Wait... are you SURE 4G is included? I see no mention of 4G data plans at Wirefly. Also, they won't take my NE2 credit either.
