Just a reminder that all Galaxy Note users get the the Angry Birds Space game for FREE from the Marketplace.

It's a promotion between Rovio and Samsung.

Loots really great on the note!

UPDATE: NOTE users get 30 free levels that aren't supposedly included with the game on other devices....

That's funny, because my kids got it free, and they're on Boost mobile with ZTE phones.

Thanks, I just downloaded it. But it seems to be free for other devices (any device?). I also downloaded it for free on the Kindle Fire.

Edit: nevermind... it's an ad sponsored version. So it's free for all, but with ads.

    Oh, lame sorry.

Ok here it is. NOTE users get 30 free levels that aren't included in other devices...

Angry Birds is nothing short of a sensation, and Samsung isn’t above exploiting that fact to make their Galaxy Note superphone look that much better. On that note (ba-dum bum) they’ve announced a partnership with Rovio to bring 30 extra levels of Angry Birds Space to Galaxy Note owners when it launches on March 22nd. You hear that, Angry Birds fanatics? All you have to do to play 30 extra levels in a free game is to buy a $650 smartphone. Just hand over your money now.

The “Danger Zone” levels are normally an in-game purchase, though since Angry Birds has always been free on Android, it’s not clear exactly how (or if ) non-Galaxy Note Android players will be able to access them. Samsung also mentions the Lazer Bird [sic], which “ reflects the personality of Samsung GALAXY Note. The bird’s lazer vision resembles the best viewing experience on the crisp and expansive screen and its lazer strike super power the high performance.” So apparently a bird that can fly through space and shoot lasers out of its eyes has a lot in common with a 5.3-inch smartphone. Somehow.

actually the extra level Danger Zone is for all Samsung device, not just Galaxy Note. but for others, will have to pay to unlock those. but there are Galaxy Note specific level, one that has Galaxy note label on the slingshot

Had a look at the links, but I can't seem to figure how I get the extra levels on my Note. I'm only about 20 levels into the game though, enjoying it so far.

If I'm not mistaken, all of this will come with the ICS update, whenever that is.

I see, I had thought it was going to be launched together. That's fine by me though, it will probably take me that long to finish the original levels.

I just opened the game and navigated across to danger zone and clicked into it. I got a message that these levels were available free for Samsung users for an introductory period. I am not sure if that means the offer will disappear sometime soon or not.

    Hope this helps...

    Eric Ritchie.
