remote control root!! htc evo 4g

    well since iam to much of a noob. i need assistance on root my htc evo as i tried but ended up giving up. please i need help msg me if interested on using team viewer on root it for me.:)

    ok you need to be more specific. what is your hboot? what did not work? what was the issue? did you do everything in the before root section?

    Yeah you really need to figure out how to do it with our help.

    If you can't do it, your not going to know whats going on when its tmie to undo it or when your flashing ROMS and something goes wrong.

    Rooting is part of the process of being comfortable enough to flash things.

    well the cmd prompt did not find my phone or neither did it find the zip file to rooting the phone.

    still need more info.
    1.so what is your hboot? power off then press and hold vol down. this will get you to the hboot (bootloader) screen. what version of hboot do you have?

    2.also have you follow the steps in the before root section?

    3.does you pc see your phone when it is connected via usb?

    answer those three quetions then we can move on.

    and yes ive followed all the instructions that they provided.
    and yes my pc see's my phone when it's connected to it.
    its just the part when you have to type in the cmd prompt and it says[ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    did you extract the revolutionary file? if not then you need to do that. make sure that your phone is set to debugging and that it is in charge only.

    i did all that and i extracted the file to the desktop....
    and it still did'nt find the file

    well once you extract the file you need to run the revolutionary exec. just double click it. the command window will pop up when you do.
