    Anybody know if there's a way to use this feature on lesser known branded TV? I have a cheap one in my room and don't see the manufacturer listed.

    I had to try a bunch of them for my Proscan TV. The LG codes ended up working for it.

    I found a few codes, but idk what option to use to enter them in.

    Have you tried any of them? The ones I downloaded couldn't find the IR hardware on the Volt.

    Remote apps on the Play Store won't work for us because LG currently only allows the IR blasters on its phones to use their own proprietary software. They have the api locked down.

    Ah... Just tried some, none worked. My bad. It didn't occur to me that that might be blocked.
