I know there are mods to change the look of the battery icon in the notification bar, but are there any to remove it entirely, or is that even possible?

I have battery monitor display a percentage reading, so I don't have a need for the normal battery icon.

there may be something bouchigo can do. but i do believe to remove the battery icon the xml file has to be configured a certain way... but i may be mistaken

I've got percentage showing as well now. The notification bar is getting crowded, so it would be great to remove the battery status icon.

It's really easy, just put your finger over it, and you won't see it anymore :p

When I have more time I may look at it......busy with BWC right now.
