I tried searching for this info, but every search ive done gives me links to Droid X or Incredible directions. Dont know if the method is the same. When I originally rooted my phone (I had 2.1 at the time), I was able to remove all the bloatware i didnt want by going into Root Explorer and changing each application's file extension from .apk to .bak. Now, with Froyo, I tried to do the same thing, but the only apps that show up in /data/app are the ones that I have installed off the market. Am I looking in the correct directory? How do I go about removing all this crap in Froyo?
