Just got Lollipop on the Verizon s5. The jury is still out, but so far I can live with it. When you wake the phone, it gives you a slide to open screen which takes you to the actual lock screen. It seems kind of pointless because you still have to unlock the phone and it takes away the ability to check your alerts at a glance. Also, I am not a fan of the clock with it's dual font (Hours bold, minutes not).
Any way to disable this? I dug through the settings and can't find anything.
Side question: how can you tell which app is forcing you into a security lock. I know I should have it, but sometimes it's helpful/useful/necessary to disable this form of security.
