Is there any way to remove the factory apps that come installed on the droid or any way to keep them from coming on. For example the corporate calendar shows on when check to make sure no apps are running so I have to hit the kill apps button to stop it until it decides to come on again. I have no use for this and some other apps that came installed

The easiest way is to use Titanium back up. It's an app that's free but requires root access. It's literally a click or two away from getting rid of any app but before which one you delete.

For rooted phones Root Manager has 1 click removal of system applications (just be careful what you delete as some systems programs have an impact on other programs).

Root Uninstaller in the Android Market worked for me!

I've tried looking for so long, and I'm going to reply to all of the other issues out there to use this method.

Does require Root. Worked for my original Jedi gangster Motorola Droid.
