OK, I don't know what update or app did this but now when I use voice controls, even when I'm not searching the web I get the response, "Opening Google" and then it opens a window and types my voice request and does the action. This just seems disjointed now. I don't remember the voice actions doing all those steps to complete a command. Does anyone know a way to turn that "opening Google" statement off? I know it's opening Google because of the tones indicating my voice command was received.

I'm worried that now that Motorola and Google are no longer married that these functions won't be seemless anymore.

Well something changed, it disappeared. I guess a recent update did it. I saw a lot of frustrated people on the motox app reviews hating on it.
