Help Remove Password on Start Up

Help, please!!

In trying to set up StrongVPN (unsuccessfully, the set up tutorials did not correspond to what I could see on the VPN settings of my Transformer), I somehow introduced the need for a Screen Lock password when I boot up.

How do I remove that Screen Lock password requirement?

When I go to Security/Screen Lock it merely asks me to "confirm" the password. There seems to be no way to remove it.

Thanks for the reply vosg.

When I boot up my TF101 the screen has a box for the password. The only other things on the screen are the time, date and battery indication. I can't see anything that says "none." Where do I find it?

you have to login, then go to Settings - Security.
 
I had the same problem as Caravaggio. It appeared that I had to use the password of the last app I installed yesterday (a Lotus Notes app). With this I could proceed. I can change the password now, but cannot unable it.... I'm affraid I have to delete the LN app for this. Any other ideas?

Yes, I think I have the same problem as Bernard123.

When I go to Security, I can see the option NONE but it's dimmed and cannot be clicked.

I think I created this Screen Lock passwod when I installed an app, but I can't remember which one. I think it may have been VPNStrong (which I have since cancelled).

Perhaps it can be approached through the Trusted Credentials, but there are too many and I don't know which one may be causing the problem.

Bernard123: how do you change your password? Mine cannot be disabled and also seems to be unchangeable.

What a mess up! :mad:
