REMOVE preinstalled apps

    Ive had a look around various forums and cant seem to find an answer but is there a way, WITHOUT rooting, to remove preinstalled apps on the HTC Desire. Such as Facebook ,twitter, stocks, friendstream, footprints.

    Any help or info would be appreciated. Cheers

    Unless you root, cant be done.

    as far as i know, its not possible.
    You have to root the device to a rom that doesnt include them.

    You can remove carrier added apparently by flashing to a generic ROM (which does not require rooting) but the apparently you mention are embedded within the generic ROM.
