Help Remove silent mode

Hi guys,

I have been missing alot of calls lately because my phone has been accidentally set to silent mode, either by reducing the volume rocker to zero or plug in and remove headphones.

This profile seems extremely useless as it only flashes the screen, no ring no vibration. But because it is sandwiched between normal mode and vibration mode it tends to go to this accidentally which is extremely annoying.

Is there any way to disable this profile?

It doesnt seem like you can edit the phone profiles on the htc desire hd

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I don't think you can manually disable the silent mode, but "Volume Control" from the android market might help you!

I don't really know if there is a stock solution... but I did find another small app that might solve all your problems. It's called volume locker and prevents changes to the volume settings unless you approve it.

I haven't personally tried it, so let us know if it worked!

cheers
