Removing 2nd gmail account on Lg optimus dynamic

Hi again,

I tried removing a 2nd gmail account on Lg optimus dynamic per instructions on the forums, but the only way it will let me do it is if I reset the phone to factory settings. Any suggestions??

Hi What your describing sounds like your trying to remove the primary gmail.com account.

If there is more then one can you remove the other one? I do not believe it is possible to "swap" the accounts creating a new primary. This limitation, either by design or accident has been a thorn in my side, I want to give my wife my old phone and she likes the way its set up and running but I cant because it wont let her "swap" the gmail

Never had this issue. Try:

Settings > Accounts > Google > Select the account you want to remove (I assume you will see two) and then Remove Account

I tried that already and it did not work. Yes there are 2 gmail accounts. I am doing this for a friend and according to her she did not create that second account. It's really strange. Thanks to all who replied so far.
