A very basic question here, but Google has let me down on the answer. I recently had to factory reset my phone (Xperia Z5 running Android 7.0), which reset all of the options I had selected in my apps. One of those was to hide birthdays from the default calendar app.
I can't seem to find any way to get rid of birthday entries on the calendar. The birthday calendar is, of course, not checked; in fact, I've tried unchecking every calendar associated with the app, and they still show up - sometimes twice for the same person. I remember having this problem before, but must have fixed it somehow - I just have no idea how.
