I recently purchased my first droid.
when loading social network i noticed it copied all 300+ friends to my phone contacts. I dont call everyone of my friends how do i remove my facebook contact phone number from my phone contact list?

There are numerous posts on this issue. It's an android feature, not a defect.

Quite simply, go to contacts, hit settings and chose another display group like "Phone contacts". It will hold that setting, that's all there is to it.

Still in the contacts within the phone launcher there is no option to change this, and I think this is what most people use for their contacts. Like me

If you don't want them on your phone, just remove Facebook from your 'accounts'. You can still use the app or webpage with no issues, but the Facebook friends won't be in your contacts.
