Help Removing Vodafone 360- and getting new music player

Hello all - forgive me if this is a stupid question, am not v techie.

My DHD is a vodafone branded phone and came with Vodafone 360, a singularly useless set of kit - I can't buy music from the shop if I am on wifi, and every time I sync my music from my laptop it copies some songs several times and others not at all.
It's not v user friendly either.

Can I remove these and install a different/better music player/uploader? I really want to ditch my ipod and have the phone serve both purposes (though I bet it will kill my battery, so what's new)

Any help gratefully received.

If it's Vodafone branded, unless you're rooted, you won't be able to get rid of the 360 player. You can try Poweramp for playing your music etc. Doubletwist is also a pretty good sync solution by all accounts.
