The repair center received my phone on April 4th, today is the 23rd and I am still waiting. Many calls to CS have only left me angry and frustrated. They offered to refund my purchase price, as long as I email a copy of my receipt. The problem with that is that I shipped my receipt with my phone, so they already have it.
Is this normal for the Motorola repair center? This is getting very old.

Most people contact VM for a replacement instead of Motorola. They send the replacement to you before you ship your phone to them. I have done that myself and had an excellent experience.

I have no experiences with Motorola doing the repairs/replacement. Sorry to hear of your troubles :(

Ouch. 4 times?! :/ I'm glad that they are willing to give you a refund, but at the same time, kinda silly to ask for something you already have.

I would call them and explain the situtaion. I have a feeling they would be wiling to give you a refund, but as agentc13 said, typically a lot of us go through VM (as they are very easy to deal with, in terms of repair.) I hope it works out in your favor!

Standard procedure is to go through VM. That's amazing they're willing to give you a refund on your purchase price!!

starts scheming... :D

The check is in the mail, according to an email from the Moto repair center. It is still disappointing that the manufacturer of the phone could not repair or replace it.

I have already replaced it with a LG Spectrum and gone back to big red.

Almost the same thing happened to me. I sent it to Motorola for them to fix a charging problem (didn't know VM would replace). Took a week and came back with the wifi broken. Sent it back in and had to wait 3+ weeks. After the first week found out VM would replace my phone. I called 4x to their "Service Escalation Team" to just give me back my phone. After 3 weeks of calls I finally got it back.

The most stupid thing? It takes 24-48 hours to get a message from their Service Escalation Team to their Repair Depot. 24-48 hours? Really? For a technology company. Holy....

I could go on but I won't. I have my phone back and will not buy Motorola again.

I have an ATRIX 4G, which was moto's flagship phone just 8 months ago for AT&T.... Motorola couldn't fix it for 2 weeks. Not to mention, the build quality sucks on it. Before I got my replacement, it squeeked if you tried to apply pressure to it, it sounded like an angry cow when it vibrated... ugh. After the horrible expirience with moto with my atrix, I won't be buying from them again, for anything.
