Replacing iTunes - anybody try this combo?

I'm going to try this:

A. Conduit between iTunes on my Mac to my Moto Droid - Salling Media Sync for Mac
http://www.salling.com/mediasync

B. Ipodish player for my Droid - bTunes
bTunes Music Player - Android app on AppBrain

This combo seems like it would get me as close to a iPod/iPhone feel as possible on both ends of the interface.

Any feedback on this setup?

I use the playlists I create in foobar2000 and just save them as .m3u (foobar2000 has that option) and copy it to the SD card. It's not exactly automated like iTunes is, but hey, it's pretty damn manageable and I get to continue using the best music player in the world instead of iTunes or a clone of it. I don't think I can plug foobar2000 enough, it's a true gem of software. :)

Also, I thought bTunes used to be free. It's paid now?

I've used Salling Sync, no complaints. Other users on this board have reported issues with it not properly moving very large playlists.

I'm having a hard time figuring exactly how Salling Media Sync and Double Twist differ. From what I can infer, I THINK Salling just acts as a translator between iTunes and your Droid, Double Twist acts as a iTunes replacement?

Am I on track here?

Sailing Media Sync duplicates the files that are in iTunes and transfers them to your Droid (and also keeps them in sync). It also does the same with your photos in iPhoto, and podcasts and audio books. Double Twist only does some of this.

For windows users winamp does this flawlessly. (Almost) I have a tutorial somewhere on here.

Just search for: how to flawlessly sync your android with winamp

I would post a link, but I'm on tapatalk.

Tapatalk. Samsung Moment. Yep.
