Replacing MyTouch 3G through Insurance...

My girfriend wants a newer phone from her current MyTouch 3G. She's been paying insurance on it, so we might say it was lost or just break it, as it already pretty finicky and on it's last legs. Has anybody had a MyTouch 3G replaced thru the TMobile insurance recently? What phone did they give you in return (since they don't make that phone anymore) ?? Also, is there a deductible?

I was given the new mytouch 4g slide and then a few weeks later I was able to swap that out with the new HTC amaze

did you come from a mytouch 3g? what was the deductible? and howd you swap to the amaze? sell the 4g and pay some extra cash online or something?
