    Hi all,

Got my G2 last week and after a cock up on my bill, they have offered to replace the G2 with a Desire. Now i have to send back my G2, but, thanks to the wonderfull guides on here, i have set my G2 free by first rooting it and then installing modaco on it and then unlocking it.

Can i just download the official T mobile rom update from the HTC site and install that and then carry out a factory reset?

Also now that i've rooted it do i need to remove the 'recovery' application?

    thank you.
