Brick Warning Do not reset from in phone if you have custom recovery!!! Do it from in the Recovery.
It may not break root. We need somebody to test it for us tho. I would think it would but if it thinks it's a system file it may not.
to be clear(i dont own the phone but for others.) yu
1)reboot recovery
then factory reset?
nd not use the factory reset option inside the android system itself?
and it won't break root, as superuser and the su binary are both in the system and isn't touched by the factory reset process.

Ok,I reset my phone and it didn't break root,And sonicbluemustang I did it from Recovery.
But I backed up the phone first in Recovery.Everything went well.
Wonderful, I was skeptical because in SuperSU there is a setting that states; Install SuperSU into /system Converts SuperSu into a system app.
So I dont see the need for this setting but hey maybe was needed in an older version or somethin.
