I'm sure this question has been asked before but I need a definitive answer. When I reset my phone. Will my passwords I have stored on OI Notepad which are secured be recoverable. I know they are stored on my SD card. And since I have never reset my phone since getting it(when Droid was first released), will this improve the response time of my phone? Right now it seems to run sluggish and I have done everything possible to speed up the phone to include cleaning cache files and uninstalling some apps and task killers. Even my keyboard seems to be sluggish. I need help!

I also need to know if it is necessary to also reformat the SD card as well or can I keep the apps that are stored there and still be able to access them.
