I don't know if this will do the trick, but open up internet, hit menu, hit more, go to settings, hit Clear form data.

I have tried many different methods, from apps that clear history to cache clearing in settings and have searched extensively in HTC's database and on these forums, as well as Google, but I haven't found a solution.

The Quick Lookup app on my HTC Evo 3D (Rogers) is still showing a couple of "searches of questionable origin" when I hit certain letters in the search box, despite me having cleared them from every possible source (Google history on my desktop, all the other search-related apps in my phone). In fact, the only place these "searches of questionable origin" continue to show up is in the Quick Lookup search field. It wouldn't be such a big deal, but of course they somehow showed up while I was trying to have my phone configured for work email..

Anyone know a way to get rid of this? The app is not removable from my system.

Thanks!

Not sure if you got your answer yet, but simply access the Google Search Magnify Glass, go to Menu, then Search Settings, and then select Clear Shortcuts.

Well, I'm not sure what happened, but I tried resetting my phone yesterday and it wouldn't restart. I popped the battery in and out and it booted up, but it had reset. I synced my accounts back up and it re-downloaded my apps. Somewhere during.that process, the Quick Lookup history was cleared. I'm not sure why clearimng the data and cache for the app didn't work, but I'll keep an eye on it going forward.
