Help Restart; but not really

I had my phone next to myself while on the computer and noticed the Droid Splash screen come up; and it seem like the phone restarted. Thing is, I wasn't doing anything; phone was just sitting there. The home screen came up pretty fast too so I don't think it really powered off and back on; I checked the battery stats and it didn't reset like it usually does when I turn the phone completely off.

Does anyone know what's causing it to do that? I believe it happened before(back when it still had 2.1) so I don't think it's an Rom issue.

Happens to me sometimes have heard that it just means too many apps are running so it just kind of resets itself

I've seen it and assumed that it was Sense crashing/resetting.
