So my Droid's screen recently stopped working and I'm getting an exchange with Verizon. I have to send my dead phone back once I get the new one, and am concerned about the fact that it's rooted running Froyo. I'd like to restore the nandroid backup I made of stock 2.1. Can somebody give me advice on how to do this with a dead screen? Perhaps from the command line on my computer via USB, or perhaps the key strokes to do it in nandroid so I can replicate it by feel?

Hmmm... I think rsd lite would be your best bet, as long as you can get your Droid connected to the boot loader, it will flash your Droid back to stock. I think that may be your best, and easiest way to do it.

I assume they use rsdlite on all the phones they receive and wipe them to stock to protect the users privacy. So I would not worry about it.

I say RSD lite as well! The SBF file will def give you stock back and kill your root! This way you don't have to guess what number sequence to follow on a SPRECOVERY/Clockwork menu

Do you know where I can find a SBF file of a stock version of Android 2.1 for the Droid?
