General Retiring my Eris

    I've held off as long as I can, but now it's time to bid good-bye to all of you here on the Eris forum.
    Got a Verizon Galaxy Nexus (finally).
    I've had the Eris for 2 1/2 years and really liked it, especially rooted and with a custom ROM. I'm keeping it as a back up for myself or my kids that are on my account.

    Will do.
    I still keep my Eris on my desk.

    I knew it was time when the XDA forums moved the Eris to the legacy devices.....
    I will say the custom ROMs really extended the life of the Eris. I got a new battery for $20 on line and used it every day.

    But now I am kinda diggin the Nexus. Especially the LTE and I get to keep unlimited data.

    The Eris was a great, especially since it was my first smart phone. I still have mine, my kids use it as a mp3 player and to play some games
