Support retro camera app needs permission to gps location?

    does anyone find that weird that some apps require permission to things like this when it's just a camera? what's the use of it accessing your gps location? is it for sharing the picture purposes or what?

    Is Big Brother watching us? :)

    props to whoever gets that reference. every time I say it, people look at me strange -__-

    Some cameras have a 'location' option to stamp where you were when you took the picture. Otherwise, if it's and ad supported app, it could be trying to place your location so that the ads you see are geographically applicable.

    Or, it could just be Big Brother...
