I exchanged my version 3 at best buy last night for light leakage. They were very hesitant to make the exchange even within my 30 day period. I was given a version 4 white. When I got home I noticed a pin hole of light coming through the black surface just under the search button. I didn't really want the white phone and I really don't want a phone that I'm not completely happy with. Even though it's a small issue would it be a valid reason for an exchange? If not couldn't I just return under the 30 day period and go back to my hero (ugh). I may try a different best buy if that's a possibility. Or would a Sprint store do a warranty exchange as a manufacturers defect?
