I loaded the stock 2.2 FRG22D through rom manager. I clicked the superuser option. My problem is that after the stock image was loaded onto the phone, the phone isn't really rooted, I have the superuser icon on my phone and I can allow superuser access but it doesn't actually give superuser access. Rom manager won't let me restore my backup or do anything, it says "An error occured while attempting to run privileged commands!" I tried to fix permissions but it gives the same message. I'm not sure what to do.. could anyone help please?

Ok, it says permission denied. So I need to root then. Do you have a link to a guide for rooting the 2.2 frg22d?
