Would it be ok to just restore a back up of a 2.3.340 based ROM after updating to the leaked Gingerbread or would I need to sbf back to 2.3.340 and then restore?

Be careful. I don't know how to do it but I bricked my phone yesterday trying. Wait for someone to post specific instructions. I figured since I have flashed a thousand differnt things to my various phones I could work my way out of any jam...wrong.

Thanks, that's what I thought. If Wireless Tether quits working once the Hotspot trial period passes I'll be going back to Apex.
