    Hi

I recently installed MIUI Android and enjoy using it, however I have a big problem with it - I cant sync my work MS Outlook calendar with the phone and this is a huge negative for me.

Before Rooting and installing MIUI the phone was bog standard.

How do I know which RUU to install to get back to having a plain standard Desire?

Instead of doing that, you could just install a standard sense ROM.
Can't link you atm I'm at work, but over on xda there is a list of Desire ROMs.
I think LeeDroid is a popular choice, stable too.

Good advice - install Teppics (2.2 or 2.3) for a close to stock but still rooted experience. LeeDroid would be my choice though if you were happy just straying a little.

This way you can still enjoy the benefits of rooting and get your access back. It also allows you to change roms again or keep more updated than stock unrooted ever would.

    Hi Guys

Great advice, I'm reading up on LeeDroid now and will try it out.

    Thanks
