Ok got my milestone fully rooted and have RootExplorer...

how can i remove some of the stock programs or free up some memory?

id like to remove the following:

    -corporate calendar/directory
    -facebook app
    -motonav
    -navigation

i have zero use for these... and dont want them on my phone.

if you know any tricks to fee up memory and makes things run smoother, please fill me in.

Navigation can be uninstalled by uninstalling Google Maps updates in Manage Applications.

The rest needs to be removed from system\app.

You need to be aware though, that removing them does not give you more memory as the system folder does not contribute to free memory to be used for installing apps etc.
