Not as much they are out of stock as they did not order many. Even the VZW's where I live and Best Buy do not have many. Heck, VZW still does not have a live demo yet.

Seems zero interest by VZW to push the product. Heck, they are barely pushing any Android devices. HTC pushed the TB and not VZW.

VZW's mind is in Appleland.

Darn. Was looking forward to heading to the store after work to play with it. Realized I can't do an amazon upgrade anyways as I have a goverment discount on my phone contract that does not transfer over if I use amazon.
 
Just ordered one from verizonwireless.com as I qualified for an upgrade. The price came up at 199.00 and they gave me a $30 credit on top of that (unsure why, but grateful). I did it as an upgrade from my D2 and they took off the $20 I'd been paying for the Hotspot as there's a free promotion for it (for some limited time) on the Revolution. (I assume I'll have to buy it again down the road.) - MarkC
 
Hm, does anyone know once you get the phone from amazon if you can change the plan?

I have a government/corporate discount on my contract (which amazon doesn't do) so can I get the phone from them and then call verizon and sign up again for my government/corporate discount?

EDIT: From googling about this issue it may cause a problem with Amazon and I may get charged a "penalty" fee for that.
 
BGR reported that Amazon is having a "BIG" memorial day sale: here

They didn't say much about it, but looks like it'll be for new customers only. I checked this morning and for upgrades its 199 but for new customers it's 149. Perhaps we were seeing this goof up when we were looking at the site.
