I have uploaded a few of my own ringtones to my DX and have succesfully installed them. I have a short Notifier I uploaded as well but I can not seem to see it in the ringtone selection when I want to use it to play when i receive texts or messaging.

    How to?

place it in SD card/Media/Audio/Rintones, or SD card/Media/Audio/Notifications.

I can see it in ringtones for when i select the tone i want, but when i am choosing a notifier, it is not in the selection of notifier ringtones.

How do I find SD card/Media/Audio/Notifications?

if you want a ringtone to show up as a "ringtone" you have to put it in a folder called ringtone. If you want it to show up as a notification as well, you have to create a seperate folder called notifications and put a copy of the ringtone there as well.

that does the trick. Needed to get astro first.

Anybody figure out a way to set separate ringtones for separate groups of people?

Or maybe have everybody that is NOT in your address book, specify a separate ringtone?
