I have tried multiple free ringtone apps on my Devour. The apps download fine but the ringtone downloads fail. Has anyone had any trouble with this or know what might be wrong?

I went to Verizon yesterday about this. The demo phone worked great, no problems. So they exchanged mine (only had for 2 days) for a new one. It did the exact same thing. They called tech support. The phone they pulled out and tried worked fine but he said after talking with other tech support there that it seems to be a random problem. Some work and some don't. I know it's just a ringtone app but I upgraded paying the data plan, I want everything to work. I ended up switching to a Droid since they couldn't get me a Devour that would do this properly. I have to say that I miss the Motoblur and liked the keyboard better on the Devour but I notice my service is better on the Droid.

Why don't you just add music from your phone and set it as your ringtone?

I use the motorola link application to sync music (mp3) to phone and ringdroid to make my own ringtones. I like that app.

That was almost the exact same as the post before yours.

Uploaded music can directly be set as a ringtone.

Personally I like zedge. You can download ringtones and backgrounds.

I'm not sure. I dont really keep track of the billboard chart, but I would imagaine so. Its pretty easy to create your own ringtones and upload them to zedge. They have quite a large selection.
