Ringtone/Notification sounds

The ringtone and notification sounds keep resetting on their own to the default.I set my own ringtone and notification sound and either when I plug the phone to the PC or remove the battery it resets itself.This is kind of annoying.Any way to stop this from happening?

Do you happen to be rooted and/or have a custom ROM installed?

When I was stock I set all my ringtones and notifications in the personalization settings within the actual settings or through the app shortcut and the very first update to the EVO V was actually an update to the personalization app. Do you remember applying that update at all?
