How do I use the music on my phone as ringtones. I'm having problems figuring it out.
Go into your music app, bring up the song you want, hit menu then set as ringtone. It even comes with a music trimmer to make your own from sections of the song.
Or, you can download Ringdroid. That is a great little app and easier to use than the EVO's ringtone maker.
+1 on Ringdroid.
For me Ringdroid has been the easiest music app to use on my Evo I even transferred some music from my itunes folder and it worked.
Does this work to set up individuals to have different ringtones?
It lets you choose contact ringtone...
Another +1 for Ringdroid.
My daughter's ringtone is The Good, The Bad and The Ugly theme!
Yes, go into each individual contact and assign a ringtone there.
When I set a ringtone for a contact that I have made in Ringdroid, it still uses the default ringtone for the phone, has happened over a few contacts, and if you go into the contact and look at the ringtone it is set correctly. Anyone have any idea why this woukld be?
