So I have an HTC Incredible, and the AMOLED screen has burned in. I called HTC regarding a repair, they directed me to another HTC number, who forwarded me to VZW. VZW forwarded me to Pacific Communications Department for the repair.
I've seen alot of posts about people getting their phone repaired and getting the SLCD version back. I was wondering how they did it because I would prefer the SLCD version to the AMOLED version.
When calling PCD they said that I would have to mail it to their New York location and they would repair and send back the same phone, is this true? or would I be thrown into refurb hell?
