whats the mas stable clock speed for this . i find if i go to 1400mhz its alot faster.. also. i use this app called good camra.. and also all the camra apps are glitchy. one takes a pic looks like 1990s tv, next it says cannot connect to camra but if i restart the app it works fine. also torch still becomes unstable but i likethe new build good job...

Battery consumption and ram usage etc is just the cost of upgrading...4.3 battery life is horrible on my Nexus 4. So we just have to make due and use whatever battery saving tweaks we can find.

I am at 90% still after 7 hours with moderate usage (no calls, just texting and a bit of internet). No way would that happen with any other rom I have tried.

I'm noticing that the quality and exposure brightness is way better using camcorder as opposed to the camera..... simple fix?

Try changing the SCN mode in settings to auto. That fixed it for me.

Mind sharing your settings? I was at 87% after 3 hours with no use and being line of site of a Sprint tower lol. My guess is its something to do with this evdo issues or radio related.

I may have a lead on it, BetterBatteryStats is being a little more insightful today. 10 hours 9 minutes uptime so far, and GPSLocationProvider has done 80 wakelocks for 7 hours 34 minutes of cpu usage, so I've only had just shy of 2 hours of deep sleep. I'd have no problem with this if GPS were on, but I've shut off ALL of my location services.

Also for moar data, i'm at 60% battery now and average consumption is 3.9% an hour.

Just my 2 cents. 30 min on battery, doing nothing just sitting in my pocket. Cpu is set at 8xx max and 3xx min. On-demand, cfq. I'm down to about 65 percent

Phenom, updating the ROM is overwriting gapps. I remember JerryScript having this issue on BackSide IHO, so the solution is somewhere in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176888 I just haven't been able to find it yet.

I've done a clean install on my phone, excluded gapps, and installed betterbatterystats again. I'm going to let it sit a bit and see what it does.

Been doing quite a bit of testing and trying to track down some of the sluggish performance. Discovered the culprit; Link2SD (and other similar app managing type apps). Uninstalled it, and everything quickened right up.

Nice to be on a speedy CyanogenMod ROM again. Had CM7 (CyanMobile) on my old LG Optimus V and it was very fast.

1 hour 15 minutes in and the battery hasn't drained much. It's been in deep sleep 1 hour and the radio-interface has wakelocked 573 times for 10 minutes of drain. Went from 31 to 30 percent. I'll flash gapps next.

For anyone having battery or lag issues, I have mine phone on smartassv2 with a min of 368 and a max of 1401. I/O scheduler of CFQ. My phone lasts all day.

Idk if it'll work on your phone, but might as well try. Every phone is made different

I really think the radio trying to switch from 1x to EVDO and hold the signal is an issue. Cell standby(time without signal) is at 35% in battery stats ...thats high. Everything I've read says cell standby should be a single % number...anyway going to research existing solutions and see what's out there.

    Sure

    Governor: SMARTASSV2
    Minimum CPU: 368
    Maximum CPU: 1612

In the WIFI advanced settings I set "Keep WiFi on during sleep" to "Never". It was set to always. You can access this setting by going to the WiFi settings screen and then hit the menu button and click "Advanced".

I don't have any battery saver apps installed.

I am at 15h 50m at 74% right now. I made a few 5 minute calls and listened to a 45m podcast since my last post. With any other rom my phone would probably be at 30% or less right now.

40 minutes with gapps and no battery movement. i'm adding my account details now...

starkraving, yes the radio is causing some drain but it's hardly anything. don't get me wrong, it'll be great to get the evdo status correct.

right now my suspect is the new maps app not playing nice. i'll leave it for one of the last things i restore.

So when did the battery drain start?

35% cell standby means that's 35% of the drain during this off charger time its significant. Cell standby should never be in double digit %'s. Its been a long time android battery killer. There's a lot of fixes out there right now the most popular involves editing the power_profile.xml. however I'm not going to do the edit till the 1x/3G issue is resolved as that may solve that part
