I'm glad to see some alternate ROMs released, but I'm not sure I see the point of this one. Has some cool apps and widgets pre-installed, which is nice …

Actually the apps were installed to add some size to the install so they can determine limits of this install. :D

They tweaked it to make it faster/smoother and themed it to add some color and ICS icons. From what I read they were going to add a batch file to make the install smoother and I might try it after that change, but I'm not thrilled with having to wipe data and set it up again. I would think that with a CM7 base that you could just upgrade it instead of wiping it.

That's enough to keep me from trying it, unless my girlfriend decides she wants our second TP for herself. Otherwise I'll be selling it on eBay without ever opening the box or giving it to family for Christmas.

I'm not interested in customizing a ROM until the base is stable, but it's good to see that a dev community could still spring up around the TP. It has the horsepower to compete with any tablet on the market right now.

Is there any actual ROM differences? Or is it all stuff you can basically just do once you have CM7 on there? Seems like someone just installed CM7, installed some stuff, changed the fonts, then re-released it ...

For the most part, yes, but updated kernel? Not sure what could be updated unless it means a different driver for something.

Saw lots of hype on this so decided to DL it. [vB1.2][CM7 XRON-ified][CM7.1 Alpha 3][Updated 12/7/2011] - xda-developers

Copied to my TP, wiped just cache and Dalvik cache. Figured if it took more than that I'd restore today's backup. :D

Didn't want to wipe, and thought it was boot-looping, but just saw desktop.

If you like blue (and HC/ICS icons), you might like it for the theme, if nothing else.

    Stupid button.... :D

Some unwanted bloat installed, and I want to change to the new icons since ICS will have them, but I really like the old ones better. At least I knew what they did.

Haven't seen anything that is better than A3 tho, but haven't played with anything new.

Nothing compeling for me either. Don't see any differences except new blue theme and icons.
