Im currently using LP with nightly 38. I notice that whenever I reboot my phone any widgets I have setup no longer load or work. I have to delete them and reads them to my desktop. I use weatherbug, simi clock, and batter monitor widget. Any ideas or suggestions?

I also noticed that the charging led turns green at about 90% based on battery monitor widget. Anyone else encounter this?

LP (i'm a long time fan) does not play nice with cm7. I found that by fixing permissions I was able to resolve all but a startup issue when rebooting the phone.. it would lag and ask to force close..by waiting it would clear in ~5-10 seconds. I tried adw ex and have better results. I did find that adw handles the startup lag better. although it fires up, its not all there for the same amount of tine that LP hung up. I did find that with lots of tweets, I was able to match LP with everything except LP widget support... still miss that

Its normal from what I read.. i know sense rom's did not do this, but thats what I read at xda

Is there a way to change the number of desktop screens from 5 to 3 in adw launcher?

yeah i've been running the nightlies for almost a month now and this is one of the problems that i have with it. the wifi seems cut in and out all the time and it drops when i hold it. Hopefully it's looking like 4g will be ready to go in the next month or so. I'll take a break and come back then unless theres a fix for this.

Two issues I've been running into.

    1. The WiFi issue that's been previously stated in this thread. My WiFi cuts in and out and sometimes I lose signal completely and my phone jumps to 3G. I check if WiFi is still on and sure enough, it is. My wifi works fine when this happens, both my laptop and xbox run just fine.

    2. This is an issue that bothers me the most. I get random reboots when my phone is plugged in.

Any solutions to these? Especially the second one?

    Thanks.

Did you set your wifi policy to never sleep? Go to wifi settings then hit the menu button and select advanced. There should be an option to never let it sleep.

I agree, CM's stock kernels are really the best out there.

Running really smooth right now. Honestly i havent had any problems with the nightlies. Only reboot i ever had was with over clocking.

I'll give it a day or two to see how the battery lasts and what not. Will report back.

ive done the fix once and flashed many times over... if at a new rom and i dont get a lock from NAV, try locking thru maps first (plot a route nav to, from maps and back out. go to NAV see if locks.) FIX still tracks..

I was running the nightly builds, most recently #37 and it kept rebooting every time I would screen off and wifi was on. I eventually flashed back to a Joey Krim sense ROM.

Overall I really liked what Cyanogen was doing, but the lack of Wimax in the nightly builds, is kind of a deal breaker for me. I'm assuming the RC doesn't have it either, right?

Is the reboot issue I mentioned before, still there? Did anyone else have it as well?

Is there a know problem as to why wireless tether isn't working? This problem is the only thing keeping me from jumping over to cm7.

I did start a CM7 EVO group; let’s try to keep it in one place. The reason I started the thread was because it seemed every other phone had a dedicated thread to CM7 except the EVO.... In any case, thank for the post.

The RC looks smaller then the other files. Has anyone noticed anything missing from the earlier nightlies that just are here?
