I recommended factory resets on Drew's roms but I now think that's unnecessary. Next time (and for those who want to try it now) wiping cache and dalvik cache only seem to fix the issue. I've been able to install apps from market just fine after that and I still have the boot animation and other fun stuff.

I tried a couple factory resets, and even reflashed the rom over the top again, still had random hot boots. I also lost the HC boot anni after factory reset. One funny thing though... after SBF, initial reboot had the HC boot annimation. lol. had to do another factory reset at that point caue it would not fully boot.

I restored my back-up of fresh install rooted 588, droid2 bootstraped to recovery. 2 wipe/factory reset, then installed this rom.

Right after the installation, before you leave CWR, wipe cache and dalvik cache (in advance settings).

I lost 3g. It seems as if I lost it after this flash. SBF'ing, now. Hopefully, I get 3g radio back after sbf.

EDIT: 3g's back after sbf. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ROM!!

This has been running well for me so far. No issues as of yet. I haven't had any 3g loss. I like the icons and it seems very quick. Waiting to see how battery life goes

works awesome so far, still loving the boot ani!
3G coverage, even in my underground apartment is good so far.
quadrant went from 1974 to 2211 when I overclocked to 1.3ghz.
Messaging and Phone all working
app all seem to work except heytell, it gets fc every time, (may be the app, may not be...)
Been playing with the device all morning, so the screen has been on pretty much continually since unplugging it, about 2 hours, battery just now getting to 90% (this is way more usage than I normally put it through, so normal batt life should be even better.
Only weird issue is the home screen doesn't rotate.

Loaded it this way:
SBF to stock rom, activated device and resolved contacts, etc.
Rooted with Z4
Droid2 Bootstrap
Three part .588 leak
Broodcomb

Hmmm. I loaded by wiping data and cache. I'm back up and running now. This rom is too finicky for me to want to mess with again. I do like the ba too though.

Steven, loss of 3g is something I've experienced on other roms as well. It's also happened on stock GB. I'm fairly sure that drew garen made no changes to the radio (i doubt he, or any one else other than moto can).

That was a thought I had, also. The radio file might be locked down by Moto. I know we used to tweak the radio files by swapping them on the BlackBerrys, but I'm not sure if it can be done on the droid.
This would be a good issue to ask BBcrackman, as he was pretty good at identifying the radio files and choosing which ones were better suited for a (OS) ROM.
I also have no idea if the radio is embedded in the bootloader or the ROM itself, haven't had enough experience with customizing these devices yet.

Had the constant sync icon, went into recovery did a data/cache wipe, rebooted..
Now the boot ani is gone and it boots into recovery every time. What did i "F" up?
I'm pretty sure this is my fault
Update.. reloaded Broodcomb and all is fixed, must have glitched it by wiping dalvik cache

First full day o. This has been good. I used the list of removable .Apk and renamed a few things and it seems good so far. Haven't had fc's on anything. Running at 1.3 using milestone and after being unplugged for 20 with pretty heavy use during my work day battery was at 25%. I have so far been pleased with this rom

unplugged mine at 8am, just got home, its 7ish pm, battery still at 80% regular usage today, had no new issues. Pretty solid so far....

do a factory reset from the settings menu.. not the recovery.. you loose the honey comb boot animation but you can instal apps...

Decided to give this a whirl 2nite. So I SBFed back to .340 Cleared data&cache (wanted best possible start for this rom)
Then followed his install instructions. So far the rom is running fast and smooth. The only issue so far was that my apps did not auto install. But everything else is great. And the theme is a nice change.

You don't NOT need to factory reset on any of Drew Garen's roms. WIPING CACHE should fix all your ailments.
