Disclaimer: Flash this ROM at your own risk. I am not responsible for what you do on your device. I left this stock to provide a base for anybody that wants to use it. Mod this rom how you want. Just please remember to give credit where credit is due.

I was going for a very simple stock looking rom with minimal cosmetics. The only cosmetics that were added were for extra functionality

    Busybox enabled
    Includes LeeDroid Tweaks
    Sense 4 Clock widget added
goo-inside.me updater enabled (notification of rom updates)
    Removed carrier bloat
    All apps up to date
Many speed, data and memory tweaks
Prolly other stuff I have forgotten.

    Flash in recovery
If you are s-on you will need to extract kernel from zip and fastboot flash boot boot.img

First and foremost this wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for erishasnobatter and adrynalyne. These 2 guys have taught me tons
Ihtfp69 --- taught me many things
dsb9938 --- for bouncing issues back and forth and talking through issues
Team BAMF --- for all the work they have done
j4n87 as ownwer and creator of original LeeDroid Tweaks-Donate
m0narx as maintainer [for sensation] and creator of leedroid tweaks-Doante
JoelZ9614 --- as he ported it to Shooter- Donate

I deleted a couple of posts, let's keep the discussion here about the ROM please.

Also, fyi, discussing how to flash a cdma carrier is not allowed here as at least one of the steps is illegal in the USA if you don't have carrier approval. (It didn't go into any specifics, so this is just a reminder ;)).

    Advanced task killer on ics..

I'm going to try to suggest as nicely as I can (while hiding my true feelings :p) for you to not include that. Many people say it does more harm than good on android gingerbread and up. Otherwise, looks good! Diggin that sense 4 clock, looks a lot better imo :D

Flashed this with no bootloops and everything is running great. Thank you. Is there anyway we can see beats audio in the next build?

    Am I an idiot?
    I did
    adb reboot bootloader
    fast-boot flash boot boot.img
    adb reboot recovery
    flashed the rom.zip
And it's like I have a factory reset build?
Software version is 1.2 or whatever, not JMZ_etc

Did you try running titanium backup or something else that requires root? You might be rooted and not even know it.

    edit: nevermind, wrong thread!

I'm not going to say idiot because I don't roll that way but if you don't have apps like leedroid, goomanager and superuser then you didn't install my Rom correctly. But the steps you took are correct.

The command should be "fastboot flash boot boot.img" no hyphen.

First read the first thing I say in my post. I have no issues with that
just give credit where credit is due. Second, I highly suggest you do it on your own. Just for pure learning experience. But as I said, no issues either way

I can add beats in but it won't be disableable/enableable. It will always be on and no notification for it. I despise smali and want to avoid messing with it if possible

Yes I used flashboot not flash-boot, that was just a typo I made here.
And when do I use flashboot? After or before I've flashed in recovery? After correct?

So I flash in recovery, shut off phone, turn on to bootloader, then do flashboot flash boot boot.img, (and this is the boot.img that I extract out of the jmz_rom.zip) then just adb reboot?

    my suggestion..

    flash zip
    adb reboot bootloader
    fastboot flash boot.img
    fastboot reboot

You have unlocked the Bootloader (or have s-off), and have flashed a custom recovery before doing this?

Unlocked bootloader, and yes, custom recovery. I'm going to give the whole thing another go right now.

Wow it worked. Thanks guys. Things I did differently - didn't use a USB extension cable, got down on my hands and knees and plugged the phone right into the back of my PC, also, I didn't do the flash with .zip verification or whatever the option is.

    Who knows! Thanks again!

Word bird, i really just wanted to use it to try and get used to the sense system layout till i can compile my own ROM from stock deodexed backups, I would always credit you, even if i didn't use your ROM as a base, just for having the path for me to follow, I really appreciate you having this available as soon as you did. it'll make things easier for people like me who have never used an HTC before.
I can't wait to play..... Your Stock-ish ROM is still running smooth! NO Hiccups. Once again many thanks.

I installed GO Launcher EX, but I'm unable to add the HTC widgets on the GO Launcher EX home screen, anyone know how to work around this?

You have to use sense to use HTC widgets. Can't use them on other launchers

Damn. Well do you know if there's anyway to get swipe commands in Sense? I like GO Launcher EX because I can bind an application to swiping down on the home screen. I have it set to (and am addicted to) lock my phone when I swipe down. So I don't have to press the power button. Also, I like being able to press the Home button and have that bring up my App drawer, instead of having to have a shortcut on the homescreen to do so.

use go widgets instead, or find some random sense widget clone on the marketplace.
