Root Rom, kernel and performance question

Im using the stock rooted deodexed rom (newest update) and stock kernel.
Battery and speed have been good but Im usualy a light user. I just downloaded hanging with friends and words with friends and one of them is like a 40meg download.
Well here is where my question comes in. When using either of these apps and I back out of them Sense restarts. Is this a lack of memory on our evos or is this a software issue like the size of sense or a kernel issue? Its not a real problem and only happens with these 2 apps so far Im not a big gamer so I have nothing to compare it to.

Well since your using the newest ota you cant really use any other kernels without having issues with the front facing camera. If you don't ever use it go ahead and use another.

As far as sense reloading I believe that's a memory issue

I use the front camera often for tango with my kids so i need that and the memory thing is what i thought also It seem like android is stopping sense to free up memory for the game to run and then restarting when i stop the game. Sound right?

Also if I flash tommys sense 2.33 rom then the camera wont be an issue right?
Is the issue only with the 2.35 update?

Yeah, its a 2.3.5 thing. I would really like to get the kernels updated, but the kernel devs haven't been too active lately.

Flash a rom based off of the last OTA and you'll be good to go.

Are you saying the sense restart is a 2.3.5 thing or the camera?
MikG works well for me in general but There is a 4G data issue that I have with it. I have to clear cashe's on a daily or the speeds drop to worse than 3 g

The issue is that kernel source hasn't been released. So they can't get The newest code for 2.3.5 to work with.

My sense would crash all the time too coming out of apps...even on mikg. I am not saying this helped...but I have not noticed the problem happen since...I smurfed my phone!!!! There is a thread around with the script. I use the third memory settinh with either sio or noop scheduler if your kernel supports it. Worth a shot

I'm not sure if it was broken before for all roms or if he's talking about a 2.3.5 fix. Either way source hasn't been released, so I'm sure it wouldn't be as good if he had source.
