so i've rooted my buddies droid for him and am trying to flash a ROM for him on there.... specifically SS 4.9.... and the new Liquid Rom.... both download fine through ROM manager, but when I hit reboot recovery it is pulling up the exclamation point.... so i do a battery pull, restart and go back into ROM manager and attempt to flash alternate recovery and flash back... then I redownload the ROM and reboot recovery.... then it says it can't mount sd card..... alright, fine I will just install it manually... so I install SS manually and it bootloops..... now I am a DX owner so am I just out of the loop or is ROM manager having issues or am I doing something wrong?? Thanks for the replies in advance!

When in ROM manager make sure that you have the option to erase recovery when flashing alternate recoveries. Also, at this point, I'd probably also delete all of the download cache and start over.

How did you root the phone?
