Hi, frustrated at orange UK blocking tethering and Wifi, I rooted my Desire with a stock Leedroid build, and to my dismay I still had the same problem. Re-reading the instructions this morning I realized that a full delete and re-install would do the trick! IT WORKED.

However, in the new install I'm missing Rom Manager and Titanium back up that was in the original install. How do I get these back as I need it to ext3 my SD Card to enable A2SD. I don't want to use back up from HBOOT as this might re-set the phone to disable the tether.

Don't know why they are missing, but you can try installing from the market.
