I have used rom manager to change roms and it has perfectly.

But it seems not many people are using this method, everyone is doing it through the recovery mode.

Is there any difference between the two?

I'd quite like to know this too.

I also hear about people backing up their roms via 'Nandroid' but I'm using rom manager for this too. Any big difference there?
